I am a third-year Ph.D. candidate in Economics, enrolled in a joint program between the Catholic University of Milan in Italy and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University in France. I am conducting my work under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Montobbio and Prof. Lorenzo Cassi.

I enjoy investigating macro-development questions from a long-term perspective, using micro- and meso-level data. Through this approach, I’ve grown interested in issues at the intersection of development economics and innovation — especially those related to structural transformation, deindustrialisation and commodity shocks. This focus has sparked an interest in Latin America.

I hold a Master’s degree in Development Economics from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, as well as a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from the Institute of Latin American Studies (Paris 3 Sorbonne-Nouvelle University).
